Sometimes, i just wonder how life plays itself and the rate at which we humans fall into its tricks and death trap. How exactly will you define growing up? Could it be the morals and lessons we picked up from family and society, or peer pressure and influence of friends and those we must have met in the course of getting older? It still beats me to think that some of us discard all these and learn to do things our own way. I was told once that wherever we find ourselves at the moment someone older must have passed through that phase at a point in time. This is where seeking and reverencing the advice we get from our parents and elders comes to play. Sometimes, what they say or must have said, may sound too archaeic or out of place or possibly, may not apply at the moment...but the truth is: the word of the elders are golden and should be adhered to. This is so because no matter how much we have our way, somehow we refer back to them to guide us.

Let's learn from a friend's experience:

Andrew is a 26year-old Business Consultant, very vibrant and full of life! one thing he lacks is making simple decisions and most times, if not all the time, he ends up regretting! He met sandra back in his university days and they just had the best relationship, anyone could wish for such. Sandra is God-fearing, highly focused and never gets carried away by anything around her. She always encouraged Andrew in everything and made him a better person through her teachings and lifestyle. Andrew would do anything for Sandra, he protected her with all his being and made sure Sandra lacked nothing.
